Christophe Josse Couture Winter 2013-2014
Christophe Josse pays homage to this deep, cottony winter color, whose ivory, alabaster and limestone nuances are always reminiscent of matter, as if he were watching the blurred outline of a memory drift away in the Ural mists.
These razor-sharp silhouettes allow for enveloping curves.
The roughness of milky felt is quilted with raw-thread embroidery, the leather of a peasant skirt combines with the laces of a Victorian blouse.
A fringed fichu collar tee in hand-woven silk contrasts with a cornely embroidered paisley pattern.
The ensemble consists of a succession of opalescent silhouettes, ethereal images of a steppe woman whose luxury lies in her infinite discretion.
