To celebrate its 160th anniversary, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche has invited Catherine Deneuve to
celebrate the spirit of Rive Gauche through window illustrations by Marjane Satrapi and an exclusive documentary directed by Loïc Prigent.

Les vitrines illu strées by Marjane Satrapi from Saturday, September 8 to Saturday, October 6, 2012
Marjane Satrapi, for whom “the world is Paris and Paris is Catherine Deneuve”,
has created illustrations featuring the star in her favorite Left Bank locations. The ten humorous sketches are both nods to the actress’ career and graphic tributes to the Left Bank.
These drawings will be displayed in volume, like a page from a pop-up book, in the rue de Sèvres windows from September 8.
For lovers of cinema and graphic art, the ten drawings signed by Marjane Satrapi will be grouped together in a precious box set, published in 160 copies and selling for 900 euros. A percentage of sales from this boxed set will be donated to the sponsorship department of Hôpital Necker-Enfants malades, as is the case with the 160 ans de création collection published by Bon Marché Rive Gauche.
Salle obscure pour film en technicolor by LoÏc Prigent
From Saturday September 15 to Saturday October 27, 2012
Because Saint-Germain-des-Prés has always been the cradle of Parisian cinephilia
, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is setting up a temporary cinema on the first floor. A documentary directed by Loïc Prigent will be screened, exploring, in an offbeat tone, the Left Bank locations chosen by Catherine Deneuve
. The film traces a sensitive itinerary and reveals a life
passionately Parisian.
