Lanvin and De Rigo launch an eyewear collection
On October 25 and 27, the House of Lanvin and the De Rigo Group presented a preview of their collaboration on sunglasses for men and women to the French and international press.
Mr. Alber Elbaz, artistic director of the Lanvin brand and creator of the new sunglasses collection, was present at the event.
This exclusive line corresponds to the traditional style of the Lanvin house, with a perfect combination of stitched details and industrial aesthetics. The designer mixes retro and contemporary style with genius. Rivets, nails and hinges, as well as more precious materials such as crystal and stones, embellish bronze, metal, horn and leather frames in a variety of shapes.
Finally, one of the glasses is engraved with Mr. Elbaz’s calligraphic logo, a couture detail.
This collection will be available in the Lanvin boutique from February / March 2012.
