At Isabel Marant, seasons come and go and models come and go…

Following in the footsteps of Daria Werbowy, Milla Jovovich and Kate Moss, Isabel Marant has chosen Brazilian model Gisèle Bündchen as muse for its Spring-Summer 2011 collection. The French brand has successfully supported its international development by calling on the services of a wide range of high-profile models. The embodiment of Parisian bobo-chic, Isabel Marant’s campaigns show that the Isabel Marant woman also exists beyond France’s borders.

Last summer we discovered a Kate Moss with a touch of rock’n’roll, tousled hair and printed jeans. For this new campaign, we’re treated to a more natural Gisèle Bündchen. Nude make-up, windblown hair, her back to the sea, the model gently embodies the brand’s bobo-chic style. This softness is reflected in the colors of the clothes, notably the pastel pink of the jeans. With her hand casually on her belt, Gisèle wears a thick red wool sweater with rolled-up sleeves, from which a white fishnet T-shirt flaps. At the wrist, a superimposition of different bracelets completes the bobo style, as does this scuffed fiber belt here and there. These combinations of materials, variations in length and accessories are just some of the details that give Gisèle Bündchen such effortless charm.
