With Daily Calm, Clinique is not seeking to treat sensitive skin but to support it at the moment it reacts. Four products, a single promise: to slow things down.
Four gestures for skin that reacts
The Daily Calm range comprises a gentle cleansing cream (120 ml, 35 euros), a soothing repair cream (50 ml, 55 euros), a complexion balm at 56 euros available in eight shades, and a tinted lip and cheek balm at 36.50 euros available in six shades. The whole range will be available from 31 August on clinique.fr, in the house’s partner pharmacies, at Bon Marché and at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann.
This narrowing to four products, rather than an extensive range, places Daily Calm within a broader movement in contemporary skincare: after a decade of exfoliating actives and multi-step routines, sensitised skin is once again a subject in its own right, with products of its own rather than lightened variants of existing ranges.
