Jack Daniel’s Bonded has been voted Best Whisky of the Year 2022 by the Whisky Advocate guide, taking first place in the Top 20 ranking with a score of 97/100. This new release, launched in spring 2022, is an extension of the distillery’s super-premium range and benefits from the Bottled-in-Bond appellation. Its recipe is inspired by Old N°7, but its ageing in notched casks gives it an intense, woody character. Jack Daniel’s Bonded is made from 80% corn, 12% malt and 8% rye. Its tasting note is dark mahogany to the eye, with aromas of caramel, wood and spice on the nose, and bold flavors of brown sugar, cooked fruit and oak on the palate. The finish is warm and spicy, with a hint of smokiness.
This whisky can be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, and is available from wine merchants at the recommended retail price of €42.90.
