FAKEAR THE NEW CARTE BLANCHE ELECTRO PROGRAM AT THE CHÂTEAU DE VERSAILLES

For the third time, the Château de Versailles is inviting a French electronic music composer to create a piece inspired by its sonic heritage. With his exotic, poetic universe, Fakear is the latest artist to be offered this carte blanche.

The variety of sounds emitted at any given moment by the Château de Versailles and its gardens constitutes a universe in its own right. A veritable collection, just like the works of art that populate the apartments, this heritage of sound is extremely rich: clock mechanisms, gushing water, tinkling chandeliers, Baroque melodies, creaking parquet floors, creaking locks…

Launched in 2019, the carte blanche electro program at the Château de Versailles highlights this unique universe of sound through totally original musical creations. Thylacine in 2019, Saycet in 2021, and Fakear in 2022.

See you in January 2022

The track will be available for listening on all streaming platforms in January 2022, and the clip will be available exclusively on the Château de Versailles YouTube channel. A podcast will also provide a behind-the-scenes look at this new invitation.
