LANCEL – ELSA bag
It’s been the bag of choice for modern, active women and style-conscious teenagers since the late 1980s. Designed by Lancel in 1987, the now cult ELSA seal bag is enjoying a new lease of life. Absent from the collections since 2007, it is back this season with a touch of soul. Reinterpreted with modern flair, it completes Lancel’s range of timeless models.
Recognizable by its iconic shape and meticulous details – vertical leather stripes, loops and straps, drawstrings on the sides, adjustable shoulder strap… – the new ELSA bag retains its practical spirit, casual look and transgenerational identity. Made in Italy, it benefits from the expertise of top-quality craftsmen.
Available in two sizes, the original M and the cleverly designed S, it comes in its original “Iguana” pattern cowhide leather or crocodile print. It’s also available in satin nylon, or with a colorful 60’s pop motif. The rich, sober color palette is available in single- or two-tone versions. To accompany the new-generation ELSA seal bag, a small range of leather goods is also on offer.
