A new Maison opens its doors
Passion, joy, transparency and trust: these are the values of Laujoa, a new jewelry brand launching its first collection this autumn. From artistic inspiration to jewelry creation, everything is mastered in the workshop to offer unique and ethical creations to demanding customers.
Laujoa’s origins lie in the joy of creating together
Laujoa was born of the desire of Laure and Thomas Jonquères d’Oriola to find a meaningful joint project. Laure is the artist. Her joie de vivre, sparkling smile and insatiable passion for jewelry are the soul of Laujoa. After graduating from the Haute Ecole de Joaillerie de Paris in 2008, she perfected her technique working for Van Cleef and Arpels and Cartier, and with Dior, she learned to develop her creativity.
Her husband, Thomas, is a rigorous pragmatist. An entrepreneur at heart, it wasn’t long after leaving the Ecole de Management de Lyon that he launched his own consulting company, which is still in business today.
This complementarity soon made the creation of a joint jewelry brand a no-brainer. In fact, the choice of the name “Laujoa” is no coincidence, a gentle blend of the designer’s first name “Laure” and their family name “Jonquères d’Oriola”. Laure and Thomas explain: ” For us, the word joy is the very synonym of the word “jewel “an object that conveys the emotion so dear to our lives.
This autumn, Laujoa presents its first fully-customizable collection. It completes the made-to-measure service available all year round.
The Vertu Collection
For this first collection, whose emblem is the leaf, Laure was inspired by nature and her many travels. Free of constraints, floral and light, this is how she wanted the Vertu collection.
Bracelets, rings, earrings, pendants and long necklaces, the Vertu collection is designed to be multi-faceted, with 14 pieces to choose from. The possibility of customizing the stone and metal makes each piece unique.

Made-to-measure, the quintessence of luxury
The creation of a bespoke jewel is a process of reflection, nourished by encounters. This unique creation is born of the alchemy between the customer’s desire and the designer’s prestigious expertise. Thus, at Laujoa, the creation of a piece of jewelry takes several weeks and begins with an initial discovery meeting. This allows Laure to present her initial sketches. The customer then chooses the stones before validating the project. Finally, they receive the jewel that will accompany them in the happiest, most personal moments of their lives.
These meetings can take place at the Laujoa showroom in Toulouse, or by videoconference. But Laure can also come to her customers’ homes, especially in Paris, for an intimate chat.

Ethical jewelry
Laujoa’s founders have opted for responsible, controlled sourcing from carefully selected suppliers. The diamond merchants with whom they work source their diamonds from legal sources not involved in financing armed conflict, and in compliance with United Nations resolutions. These diamonds are exclusively of natural, untreated origin.
The lapidary who supplies them with colored gemstones is a member of the ICA (International Colored Gemstone Association), and their gold supplier is RJC (Responsible Jewellery Concil) certified. This enables Laujoa to guarantee impeccable traceability, quality and standards in the selection of the gems and gold used. The latter is recycled gold to limit any environmental impact. Finally, to avoid overproduction, jewelry is only made to order.
