Catherine B exhibits Hermès’ first Birkin bag at the Victoria and Albert Museum
London’s Victoria and Albert Museum opens Bags: Inside Out, the UK’s most comprehensive exhibition devoted to this ultimate accessory.
Catherine B, French collector of Hermès and Chanel bags and owner of the boutique “Les 3 marches” on rue Guisarde in Paris’s 6th arrondissement, is invited to present the centerpiece of her collection, the first Birkin bag made by the Hermès workshops for Jane in 1984, which bears her initials.
