d>Champagne tasting in weightlessness.
High above the vineyards of Reims, Maison Mumm inaugurated Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar, the first champagne designed for tasting in weightlessness, marking a breakthrough in the world of exceptional wines.
Since its foundation in 1827, innovation has been a constant at Maison Mumm. This is the culmination of three years of research and experimentation, in collaboration with Octave de Gaulle of the SPADE agency, specialized in the design of space objects, and Jean-François Clervoy, French astronaut with the European Space Agency (ESA).
Maison Mumm has designed an exclusive gift set for the festive season: a limited number of purchasers will be able to treat themselves to a genuine limited-edition space suitcase containing a bottle of Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar and two glasses with tapered stems – all in a design suited to tasting in space. Only twenty cases are available for purchase worldwide*. While waiting for the launch of the first commercial suborbital flights, Maison Mumm is reinventing the ritual of tasting with its Mumm Grand Cordon Stellar champagne.
