Yamazaki Mizunara Edition 2017 whisky embodies the mastery of the Art of Mizunara, from tree selection to barrel making, from maturation to whisky blending.
Through their long experience with Mizunara casks, Suntory’s Master Blenders have observed the key role of age in revealing the taste signature of Mizunara whisky.
Long maturation favors the spicy character and incense-like notes of sandalwood and aloe, considered by Suntory to be the quintessential Mizunara character.

Nose: an elegant perfume of aloe wood and cinnamon
Palate: an intense sweetness, a powdery texture of dried fruit, coconut and orange marmalade
Finish: a very distinctive spicy taste, which lingers on the palate with notes of Japanese incense, aloe wood, cinnamon and tart.
