MICHAEL KORS PRESENTS ITS NEW RESORT/HOLIDAY 2018 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS

The campaign for the Michael Kors Resort 2018 collection is the epitome of laid-back glamour. Keen to pay homage to the brand’s chic, edgy DNA, Mario Testino immortalized Argentine model Mica Argañaraz, who is seen lounging in a tropical location, dressed in pieces from the new collection. “This season, the relaxed languor of the tropics meets the lustre of the big cities,” says Michael Kors. Casual glamour day or night – it’s the perfect mix.”

Taylor Hill and Romee Strijd make their comeback in ads for the MICHAEL Michael Kors line. Mario Testino followed these two best friends on a glamorous evening out in New York. The ads celebrate the energy and opulence of the holiday season, showcasing the season’s nighttime offerings, sublimated by ultra-shiny ornaments and metallic details.

 

Also joining in the holiday season imagery, Dutch model Wouter Peelen reprises his role as the face of the Michael Kors Mens line. Photographed by Mario Testino, he appears in an elegant selection of seasonal items.

 

The global campaign kicks off in October, with ads appearing in the winter editions of Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle and Elle in the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific. In all, the Resort print ad campaign will run in 40 markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The images will also appear on digital store sites, social networking platforms and traditional media placement campaigns.
