Design and craftsmanship
Vertu’s attention to detail is exemplified by the Constellation – more than a phone, an experience in its own right. The supple leather, offered in a variety of warm colors, comes from a specialized family tannery in Italy. The polished side edges and chassis are sculpted from anodized aluminum, providing both high strength and a perfectly soft-touch appearance. The hand-crafted, polished listening pad has been designed for optimum acoustics and perfect listening comfort, while a ruby-cut key gives you access to our exclusive Concierge and Lifestyle services. The back plate proudly bears the words “Made in England”.
A phone with worldwide coverage
Vertu’s ambition is to offer a phone with global coverage and the Constellation perfectly meets the needs of the international traveler. Recognizing that many Vertu customers live and travel in multiple countries, Constellation is the first Vertu device to support Dual Sim technology allowing users to switch between different Sims and networks depending on their destination. Vertu’s development team ensures that, wherever you are in the world, your Constellation has the optimum configuration for that region. This exceptional global service is complemented by access to iPass global Wi-Fi, the world’s largest Wi-Fi network.
Performance
Constellation boasts Vertu’s highest display resolution, thanks to a large 538-pixel-per-inch WQHD AMOLED screen with over 3.6 million pixels, protected by scratch-resistant 6th-generation sapphire crystal for exceptional clarity down to the finest detail. The Constellation’s outstanding acoustic performance is achieved through Dolby® Digital Plus virtual surround sound processing and front stereo speakers positioned at the top and bottom of the phone for maximum volume without distortion.
While uplink noise cancellation and HD voice support ensure unprecedented call quality. With an exceptional 12-megapixel camera featuring 1.55 micron pixels each, as well as 4K video support offering slo-mo video capture and panoramic functions, Constellation ensures a superior imaging experience for social networking aficionados.
In addition to its powerful audio and photographic performance, Constellation is developed under the latest Google Android ™ 6.01 Marshmallow version and offers NFC wireless charging features as well as secure communications via the Silent Circle service. Vertu began work on a luxury cell phone concept in 1998.
