Rain of stars & Clap de fin

As it has done every year since 1977, the legendary Fouquet’s Paris brasserie will welcome the biggest names in cinema on February 24 for the dinner following the 42nd César Awards Ceremony , before closing its doors for renovation.

As official partner, the Fouquet’s Paris restaurant will welcome some 735 hand-picked guests at the traditional dinner following the 42nd César Awards Ceremony.

In the kitchen, the menu is created in collaboration with Chef Pierre Gagnaire.

“The menu is like a film, it has to tell a story; a story that gives pleasure, a few emotions. Traditional foie gras is revisited with a few unusual flavors and textures. Lobster is combined with button mushrooms and Roscoff onions. César is the party and sunshine that everyone dreams of,” explains Pierre Gagnaire.

On the menu for this evening:
Ballotine of duck foie gras

Dried fig marble

Red beet jam
Apple compote / Artichoke brioche
* *
Poached lobster with hazelnut butter

Yellow mango / Paris buttons

Roscoff sweet onions
Mousseline agria / Celeriac with turmeric
* *

The emblematic brasserie will put in place a perfect organization to delight all guests in record time.

This year in particular, the spotlight will be on the famous Parisian address, which will close its doors after this evening event. The establishment is continuing a renovation and extension program begun at the start of the year, and will reopen in summer 2017.
