The emblematic Cat’s Eye collection, with its highly recognizable horizontal oval shape or vertical oval case housing the famous Tourbillon sous Pont d’Or, presents a new, even more contemporary facet thanks to a new vertical, oval and set case.
Resolutely feminine, its polished case, set with 60 brilliant-cut diamonds, sparkles around a mother-of-pearl dial in the rose gold version, or a guilloché dial in the steel and two-tone (steel – rose gold) versions, underscoring the harmony of the vertical oval. The rafted “leaf” hands mark the passage of time on two types of in- dex: gilded Roman numerals (at 12 and 6 o’clock) and diamonds for the two-tone steel and rose gold versions. The generous, harmonious dimensions of the case, measuring 34.72 x 40.00 mm and 11.60 mm thick, underline its contemporary character.
The Cat’s Eye Majestic, with its distinctive aesthetic and strong watchmaking content, is available in pink gold, two-tone or steel. Available with black alligator, steel, two-tone (rose gold/steel) or rose gold bracelets, the collection lends itself to all occasions.
At the heart of this new collection beats the GP03300 automatic mechanical manufacture movement. Entirely designed and assembled in Girard-Perregaux’s workshops, the caliber has a diameter of 25.60 and a thickness of 4.54 mm. With 199 components, 28,800 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of 46 hours, it remains true to the finest traditions of fine watchmaking.
Since 1791, the Manufacture has paid particular attention to the aesthetics of its creations. The remarkable finishing and decoration of the Cat’s Eye Majestic’s movement can be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback.
The plate and bridges are chamfered, circular-grained and decorated with Côtes de Genève, while the oscillating weight is adorned with the “GP” logo on a magnificent tapestry decoration.
The Cat’s Eye Majestic is the latest addition to a collection already renowned for its distinctive aesthetic charm and fine craftsmanship, the hallmarks of a Swiss Manufacture celebrating 225 years of history this year.
