The & Other Stories brand has teamed up with Rodarte to create a capsule collection of ready-to-wear, shoes and jewelry, which will be available in boutiques and on stories.com from March 17, 2016.
& Other Stories presents its capsule collection by Rodarte
With its textures and nuances, romantic details and unexpected contrasts, Rodarte’s capsule collection is true to the Californian brand’s aesthetic.
“We wanted to create a collection that embodied the Californian lifestyle. Wearable pieces for both day and evening, capable of adapting to everyone’s style and personality. For us, it was important to create a wardrobe of essentials: a beautiful jacket, a dress, a skirt, a blouse, a sweater, shoes and jewelry that were completely modular,” say Kate and Laura Mulleavy.
For this collection, Rodarte used colors and surfaces to create a 3D impression, with subtle contrasts, sophisticated details and clean, modern lines. The designers also played with textures such as struck velvet, suede, mohair, lurex mesh, metallic inserts and crystals. Metallic trims reflect light and catch the eye.

Capsule collections complement existing collections with their own strengths and expertise. By working with more or less established talents, & Other Stories diversifies its identity and brings an element of surprise to its customers.
Created by Kate and Laura Mulleavy, the Rodarte brand is known for its artistic blend of haute couture, femininity, modernity and Californian influences. Their signature is identifiable in this capsule collection, made of unexpected contrasts and high-quality materials, which will be available from March 17, 2016 in selected boutiques and on stories.com.
Prices range from €29 to €295 – €29 for a ring, €45 for a necklace, €65 for a top, €125 for a dress, €295 for boots or a jacket.
