For Easter 2016, on Sunday March 27, Maison Henri Le Roux is offering the “Harlequin” egg, which, by combining the classic motif in four strong colors, renews the egg-hunting tradition!
Cut in the shape of a shell, the “Harlequin” egg is decorated with lozenges, a mischievous nod to the character of Harlequin, the clumsy but greedy valet of the Italian commedia dell’arte. The contemporary shape of this Easter egg brings a modern touch to the traditional Harlequin costume.
The “Arlequin” egg is created from Madagascar-origin chocolate – 70% cocoa -. It is filled with dark and milk chocolate fritures in the shape of fish and shells, as well as small praline eggs.
