1 year after his return to Terre Blanche Hôtel Spa Golf Resort, Chef Philippe Jourdin is awarded a Michelin star for his gastronomic restaurant “Le Faventia”.

It’s not without a certain amount of emotion that Terre Blanche Chef Philippe Jourdin has been awarded a Michelin star for his restaurant “Le Faventia”. “It’s an immense pleasure! Since my return in 2015, my team and I have been working together to offer our guests the very best in southern cuisine, inspired by the seasons, the Provençal terroir and regional produce,” comments Chef Philippe Jourdin.

Gilles Fouilleroux, Director of Terre Blanche Hôtel et Spa, also welcomes this news with great joy: “This distinction, which comes from a benchmark guide that is part of the French culinary tradition, rewards the tireless work of Chef Philippe Jourdin and his brigade. I would like to congratulate them and look forward to seeing Terre Blanche once again shine in the firmament of gastronomy”.

Chef Philippe Jourdin has already been awarded the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de France” (Best Craftsman in France), and has worked in some of France’s most prestigious establishments: Moulin de Mougins, Tour d’Argent and Relais LOUIS XIII in Paris. It was in 2003 that he first joined the kitchens of Terre Blanche, where he officiated for 7 years, winning two Michelin macaroons and three Gault & Millau toques. In 2010, he moved to Marrakech for 5 years as Executive Chef at the Royal Palm Beach, before returning to his first love and the Terre Blanche kitchens last year.

The now Michelin-starred restaurant “Le Faventia” is a magical place with panoramic views over the authentic villages of Callian, Montauroux and the hills of the Pays de Fayence. Soft beige and cinnamon tones, contemporary art canvases, oak parquet flooring and sycamore tables create a hushed, natural and elegant atmosphere. In the dining room, guests are pampered by Thierry Demolliens’ team, also “Meilleur Ouvrier de France”, while appreciating Chef Sommelier Alexandre Pauget’s judicious advice on food and wine pairing. The wine list gives pride of place to the region’s finest elixirs and, of course, to some wonderful grands crus.
Located just 35 minutes from Cannes, Terre Blanche Hôtel Spa Golf Resort, a member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of The World collection, is the ideal destination for discovering Provence, its gastronomy and its landscapes, staying in one of the 115 independent suites and villas nestled into the hillside. This 300-hectare jewel of the Var hotel industry also boasts a 3200 m2 spa and two 18-hole golf courses: an oasis of greenery and gastronomy!
