TAG Heuer presents the “Abarth Competizione by TAG Heuer”

On the first press day of the 2016 Brussels Motor Show, Amarth, in partnership with TAG Heuer, unveiled an exclusive new special series: the new Abarth 595 “Competizione by TAG Heuer”, the sportiest and most powerful four-seater in the Abarth range.
At the instigation of Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and President of the LVMH Group’s Watch Division, the car was developed in partnership with Garage Italia Customs, headed by Lapo Elkann.
Its 1.4 T-jet engine has been boosted to 180 hp and 250 Nm of torque, thanks to a new turbine and a Monza Record high-performance exhaust system. Limited to just 30 units.
The 595 “Competizione by TAG Heuer” was created for those who love adrenaline rushes, thanks to acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, and powerful, reassuring braking provided by an oversized Brembo system.
To make this feisty little car even more racy and exclusive, Abarth is teaming up with Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer for the occasion,the first partnership of its kind. Cars and motor racing are part of TAG Heuer’s heritage and genetics. Need we remind you that the Swiss luxury watch brand has partnered and supported the greatest F1 teams, the greatest drivers, and the most legendary circuits?
Each vehicle comes with a TAG Heuer Carrera chronograph engraved with the Scorpion logo.
