Marché des Saveurs at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris

In the run-up to the festive season, Thierry Marx will host the second edition of the Marché des Saveurs at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris, on Saturday December 12, 2015 . A true gourmet itinerary, the event will give pride of place to festive products.

Set in the hotel’s garden, transformed into an enchanted forest, the market will showcase a wide range of festive products and seasonal delights, offering gourmets the perfect way to prepare for Christmas Eve. Young gourmets will be able to sample tasty gingerbread and marrons glacés, or the astonishing Yule log from Pierre Mathieu and Mambo, the “Père Noel”. While older guests will appreciate products from exceptional artisans: charcuterie from Gilles Vérot, fruit and vegetables from Vergers St. Eustache, Caviar de Neuvic or French cheeses selected by Thierry Marx and the Lien des Saveurs team.
For the occasion, the Bar 8 team has created a mulled wine based on Poiré, and an astonishing new toddy,Ephedromel, made with Blackwell rum, fresh ginger, lime, cloves and honey from the hotel’s own beehives.
In the afternoon, a gospel choir will contribute to the magical Christmas atmosphere, spreading its joyful melodies throughout the hotel from the lobby.
The Marché des Saveurs is open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, December 12, 2015, in the garden of the Mandarin Oriental, Paris.
