A journey punctuated by three major concerts in exceptional venues, offering music lovers the most complete panorama of Italian classical music. First stop: Taormina’s theater for a private concert with tenor Piotr Beczala, then Ravenna’s famous Sant’ Appolinare Basilica (a UNESCO World Heritage site) to enjoy the gentle melodies of Nemanja Radulovic, and finally Venice’s La Fenice, where Bellini’s Norma will be performed. On board, a concert each evening by a quartet and a special evening with an exceptional performance by French mezzo soprano Karine Deshayes. There will also be five lectures by one of Deutsche Grammophon’s most influential artistic directors and producers, and by Jean Michel Dhuez, journalist with France Musique and RTL.
