From October 22 to 26, Art Élysées – Art & Design returns to the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, bringing together nearly 75 galleries in 3 ephemeral pavilions, presenting a broad panorama of modern art, contemporary art and 20th-century designer furniture. Luxsure is a long-standing partner of this fair, and will be again this year. We’d like to take this opportunity to offer you, our readers, VIP invitations to this art fair.

For the past eight editions, Art Élysées – Art & Design has played an active part in the capital’s artistic effervescence, and the fair is a dynamic meeting place. An eagerly-awaited rendezvous for art lovers, collectors and professionals alike.

Today, Art Élysées – Art & Design has earned the status of a major event on the art market. With each edition, the organizers strive to bring new exhibitions to the public, and Art Élysées contributes to the artistic and cultural dynamism of the City of Paris.

The fair is above all a place where visitors can meet artists, museums, foundations and cultural institutions…

2015 – YEAR OF LIGHT “ART ÉLYSÉES LIGHT PROJECT” EXHIBITION

This year, Art Élysées presents its “Art Élysées Light Project” exhibition, featuring two artists in parallel: Éric Michel and Pierre Marie Lejeune, who both deal with light in their work. Two reflections, two totally different approaches to illustrating light in art.

The visual artist uses light as a medium (“The materiality of light”), and the sculptor uses materials as a source of light in his work. In both cases, light plays a decisive role in the reading of their works.

To complement the presentation of these two artists, each of the galleries taking part in the Art Élysées fair is invited to focus on the theme of light, as a punctuation mark, a red thread, throughout the visit to the gallery walls. Visitors will discover the multiple uses of light in art through the different artistic currents from the post-war period to the present day.

The organizers of Art Élysées – Art & Design are delighted to invite you to join us on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, from Place de la Concorde to the Grand Palais, from October 22 to 26.
