As the brand’s creator confided to us, it was above all the desire to find a swimsuit that suited him that inspired Davide Jais to create his brand. To rediscover the pleasure of wearing a swimsuit, where it can be a source of anguish. No more bathing shorts in unpleasant materials, with no silhouette. Coast Society provides a solution for seaside dandies. Aware of the need, Davide reworked the swimsuit, revising everything: shape, quality, details and materials. The basic inspiration was the Neapolitan sartoriale, the suit. The swimsuit was born! It’s perfect for bathing, but classy enough to take to a restaurant or out for a drink. From morning to night, for all occasions and all locations, Coast Society offers a “haute couture” swimsuit for impeccable attire: the contemporary swimsuit.

The choice of unusual, high-quality materials, resistant to seawater, sun and chlorine, with simple, delicate details – from flap pockets to soft-touch buttons or eyelets depending on the model, all fitted with elastic polyamide inner briefs for ultimate comfort – highlights impeccable craftsmanship: the authenticity of yesteryear blending
with modern elements. Four models are offered in a monochrome or lightly striped range of lengths. The model names highlight a look of extreme refinement, a state of mind; the poetry of unusual elegance in a swimsuit. A rare attention to detail, handmade in Italy’s Piedmont region.
The Coast Society also refers to the Cafe Society, the world’s cultural elite who lived from the 1920s to the 1950s, organized sumptuous parties between Paris and Venice, and loved going to the Cote D’Azur. Each model pays homage to a member of the Cafe Society.

Coast Society is based on the values of its founder, Davide Jais.
Davide’s Franco-Italian culture, from his earliest childhood, drew and developed his values from the design, fashion, art, elegance and refinement represented by these two countries.
His passions and philosophy of life naturally led him to work in several countries for luxury brands such as champagne and cognac. This career path, mingled with extraordinary encounters in the arts, luxury goods and crafts, only served to affirm his taste for aestheticism, refinement and high standards.
Through his many travels, he came to realize that men don’t have an abundance of clothing choices dedicated to swimming, and that men want to feel elegant and well-dressed, whether in a resort pool, on a riviera beach or on a boat. From a family involved in the textile industry, he will retain a taste for beautiful materials and the
details that make all the difference. From this life experience and after two years of research and study of materials and creations, he naturally launched Coast Society with the idea of handmade – a tribute to the tailors of yesteryear – mixed with a resolutely contemporary
style.
