Champagne Collet launches a gourmet rosé

Champagne Collet has decided to revive the adage that Champagne is best enjoyed with dessert, and has launched a new, gourmet cuvée. Lighter than a demi-sec, sweeter than a classic Brut, thanks to a subtle dosage of 25 grams of sugar per liter. Rosé Dry Collection Privée is the perfect ally for gourmet sins.

Champagne Collet

This new Cuvée Rosée is a blend of the three Champagne grape varieties, with a majority of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Like the other cuvées in the Collet range, this rosé is cellared longer than average to reach perfect maturity. Its 4 years of ageing bring finesse and smoothness to the bubbles it contains. The nose of this new cuvée is fresh and delicate, with aromas of rhubarb tart.

On the palate, it features a subtle balance between the tart freshness of pink grapefruit and the sweetness of strawberry charlotte.

A cuvée tailor-made to match desserts, especially red fruit.
Its fresh, tender character also makes it the ideal accompaniment to festive evenings.

This new cuvée will naturally be presented at the 2015 Prix Champagne Collet du livre de Chef dinners.
