Second season for Damir Doma at Mugler. The London-based designer successfully integrates the vocabulary of the house now owned by the Courtin family, while redefining a new woman. Sensuality is the order of the day in these body-enveloping dresses. Eyelets, superimposed fabrics, belted waists and high collars are just some of the details Damir incorporates into these new silhouettes. His inspiration comes from computer chips, translated into the wardrobe by textured lines, or 3D sequins and copper-colored leatherwork to support the futuristic look. It also plays with different shades of white, navy and black, and emphasizes technicality with laser cuts, making the materials supple, the curves asymmetrical and the look avant-garde.
