H&M Studio, Women’s show, Fall/Winter 2015/16, Paris, interview

The Grand Palais transformed into a science-fiction movie set, with flying saucers in the center of the stage, which opened up and became a drinks bar at the end of the show. A front row of celebrities (Olga Kurylenko, Karolina Kurkova, Solange Knowles, Audrey Tautou, Mark Ronson, Virginie Ledoyen, etc.) and designers such as Alexandre Mattiussi, Alexis Mabille and Humberto Leon came to discover the latest creations by the Swedish giant. Overcoats were in the spotlight, with a multitude of cabans, trench coats and loose-fitting jackets. Vinyl was featured on jackets and skirts. Dungarees are in vogue, in knitwear or zipped leather with wide, pilot-style straps. Mesh sweaters are also worn wide, while lightly draped dresses are slipped over pants. Orange, camel and burgundy definitely seem to be the three colors of next winter. Of note: all the top models of the moment, including Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Cosntance Jablonski, paraded the runway with big smiles on their faces…
