Marco de Vincenzo’s work with materials is simply remarkable. He plays with fabrics to create new effects and patterns. Clothes are highlighted in contrasting colors, as are the lapels of dresses and pleated skirts. Nothing is left to chance. Even denim is reworked in new hues. The silhouette is rendered graphic with a play of stripes. Skirts button up, lace is embellished with wool thread embroidery to create new graphics. Plastic cabochons adorn cabans. Tubular dresses in lurex mesh illuminate the catwalk with stripes. An ultra-worked collection that confirms the creative talent of this young Italian.
