On October 21 and 22, Thierry Marx, Executive Chef of the Mandarin Oriental, will welcome Hiroshi Sasaki, chef of the “Gion Sasaki” restaurant, to Le Sur Mesure.
Hiroshi Sasaki, head of the “Gion Sasaki” restaurant, Kyoto’s most renowned establishment, was awarded two Michelin stars in 2009. This is the first time he has come to Paris to present his cuisine, in collaboration with the French chef.
Thierry Marx, passionate about Japan and its culinary arts, will be combining his cuisine with that of his Japanese compatriot. The fifth and sixth hands will be those of David Biraud, who will propose a food pairing with TAKARA Shyuzou sakes, also participating in the event.
So it’s a “four-hands” menu entitled “Autumn from Kyoto to Paris” that the two chefs will be offering on these two exceptional days.
This exclusive three-course menu will be offered at Thierry Marx’s Sur Mesure restaurant. A first six-course menu (excluding drinks) will be offered for €95 at lunchtime on Wednesday October 22. This will be followed by a nine-course menu (excluding drinks) for dinner on Tuesday October 21 and Wednesday October 22.
