Christopher Gaglione, head bartender at the Prince de Galles, and Cyrille Kerkaert, his partner in charge of bringing cocktails to life in the Les Heures bar, have added a collection of ten limited-edition oak-aged cocktails to their refined menu.

These tasting liqueurs derive their rich taste from barrel aging, which can last from three weeks to three months, depending on the spirit and the desired result. Wood is one of the key elements in these cocktails: in the fragrance obtained during cellar aging. And in their colors, which range from golden to dark reddish-brown, and are presented in bottles like precious perfumes. In addition, these creations have a hint of candied fruit.
Décennie is the name of the collection’s signature cocktail. Composed of a blend of aperol, cucumber and rose-infused gin, vine peach cream and plum bitter. Fruity and floral notes are combined with the bitterness and woodiness of the liqueur.
The 10-cocktail tasting menu can be found at the Les Heures bar and the Patio d’hiver at the Prince de Galles hotel.
The 350 ml bottle, sold with a booklet, costs 48 euros.
