Spring-Summer 2015 Collection – Gauchère: “Millimetric simplicity”.

This season, the Gauchère collection is versatile, playing on contrasting shapes and volumes, tones and materials. Some elements are interchangeable, others can be superimposed.

The inspiration came from the work of cubist artist Duilio Barnabè, who reduced the matter of his subjects to their purest form, fusing organic shapes with more geometric graphic lines.

This process is reflected in the cut of the models, the sometimes simplified silhouettes and the use of rounded, geometric lines. Colors contrast (black and white, yellow and white, red and black), as do technical processes (pleating, laser-cut leather, etc.).

These elements interlock and juxtapose, reinforcing the collection’s polymorphous character. This play of textures reveals the multiple personalities of each garment.

A rocky knitwear line completes the collection’s flagship models. And sneakers, a Gauchère novelty developed with great care. Here again, contrasting colors and materials dominate, translating the essence of the collection into a contemporary aesthetic approach.
