The international press was on hand to salute his talent and 38 years of work. The theme: the election of Miss Jean-Paul Gaultier! Miss France, of course, but also Miss Météo, Miss Rédactrices de Mode, Miss Tour de France, and even Miss Smoking were represented… A show, yes, but always creative, inventive fashion, with the parade of JPG’s flagship garments such as the marinière, the corset, the perfecto, the tuxedo…. And once again, all ages were represented on the Rex stage. Ex-models or ex-Miss, they all look good in Gaultier. The couturier will continue to parade exclusively for Haute Couture.
