Paul Smith sprinkles plants all over the place, in staging, as in his collection… to simply put some green in everyone’s life. Paul Smith sprinkles plants all over the Bourse du Commerce in Paris, to bring green into everyone’s lives. This is reflected in the wardrobe with its fluidity and suppleness, in loose-fitting pants, light jackets worn like shirts, and slip-on tunics. Of course, tropical flowers and even ladybugs and bananas are featured in prints on sweaters, sweatshirts and accessories. Leather bangs make an appearance on a few pieces or around the neck. Blue tones dominate, with Paul adding stripes in gradations of color on T-shirts, shirts and light knit sweaters. Sportswear is also present in the collection, with jogging bottoms and zippers on the sides of sweatshirts. An “easy” wardrobe, easy to wear, with good vibes, making us want to simply conclude with the word “yeah”, exactly as marked on the last T-shirt that closes the show.
