GUCCI WATCHES AND JEWELRY PRESENTS ITS NEW HORSEBIT WATCH COLLECTION
The horsebit is one of Gucci’s most emblematic signatures. First introduced in the 1950s, this motif was originally inspired by the
equestrian pastimes of Florentine high society. Used on shoes, accessories and jewelry, the horsebit symbol is now reinterpreted on a new, elegant collection of women’s watches, available in several variants including precious models.
The curves of the horsebit exalt these refined 28 mm watches and blend ideally with the rigid, rounded bracelet, giving these steel models a
jewelry look. Dials are available in dark red or brown, or adorned with black or white mother-of-pearl. A first model in white mother-of-pearl is enhanced by precious
elements, as revealed by the horsebit-shaped case set with 12 diamonds. On all four models, the hour-markers take the form of Roman numerals and the
Gucci logo appears at 3 o’clock. In addition, an exclusive precious model reveals a horsebit set with 92 diamonds, also embracing a white mother-of-pearl dial. Other details include three diamond hour markers at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, and the Gucci logo at 12 o’clock.
The other models in the collection are available in a larger size (34 mm) and offer a different interpretation of the iconic horsebit. These watches are
offered on leather straps in a variety of colors.
Yellow gold and brown diamonds
In this sensual set, the warm tones of sumptuous, opulent 18-carat yellow gold blend perfectly with fancy brown diamonds. This sublime
representation of Gucci’s famous Horsebit motif comes in four pieces: a pendant necklace, bracelet, ring and sleepers. Each
bit is delicately accented with atypically colored diamonds ranging from 0.42 to 1.06 carats. This luxurious quartet is a perfect example of how an iconic
motif can be crafted into a piece of jewelry.
White gold and diamonds
Evoking the House’s timeless, classic style, this elegant white gold trio embodies a fresh, contemporary state of mind. On this necklace, ring and
Horsebit sleepers, refined 18-carat white gold is set with classic diamonds, offering a graceful reinterpretation of the famous Gucci symbol.
Pink gold and white diamonds
Gucci Joaillerie presents a highly precious Horsebit set, dedicated to a sophisticated clientele and crafted from 18-carat pink gold adorned with a generous pavé
of white diamonds. Feminine and luxurious, the combination of diamonds and pink gold has established itself as a sensual alternative to the traditional association of white gold
and diamonds. This rose gold set comprises a bracelet, necklace and sleepers, and features a horsebit motif set entirely with diamonds. The necklace features a Horsebit pendant set with over 2 carats of diamonds; the beautifully crafted bracelet features a succession of iconic
horse bits and dazzles with its 4.69 carats. On the earrings, the Horsebit motif takes on a sculptural form and transforms into a sublime pavé set entirely
with diamonds. Designed so that the diamonds are always visible, these special pieces embody the great expertise of Gucci Joaillerie.
Blue topaz set
Gucci Joaillerie’s perfect expertise and savoir-faire are embodied in this new blue topaz set from the Horsebit Cocktail collection. Entirely handcrafted
by the House’s Italian goldsmiths, this set is adorned with sky-blue topaz and perpetuates Gucci Joaillerie’s predilection for colored stones. The
contrast between the large sky-blue topazes and the sparkling white diamonds lends this set a glamorous yet profoundly modern allure. The 18-carat white gold chain (42 cm) carries a topaz pendant, held in place by four white gold jaws and topped with a diamond. On the Horsebit Cocktail ring, topaz is
also in the spotlight: the stone is highlighted by diamond-set edges and jaws totaling 0.88 carats. The matching sleepers are
particularly seductive: the large topaz is superbly combined with a cascade of white diamonds.
