Glenn Martens’ second collection as Creative Director of Y/PROJECT is a surprising mix of cool ’90s minimalism, urban pop and sporty materials, with a touch of medieval inspiration from his hometown of Bruges, Belgium.

The collection offers graphic cuts imbued with a structural elegance that defines the Y/PROJECT signature.

MATERIALS

The PE15 Y/PROJECT collection is built entirely around different types of linen: technically assembled, waxes and oils. This playful play on coatings brings accents of light and depth to the collection’s darker tones.

KEY PARTS

The collection’s highlights range from reflective parkas, corded suede shorts and sheer biker tops to denim perfectos, waxed leather pants and jackets, and suits and trench coats shaped with silk and linen panels.

Y/PROJECT SS15’s PE15 collection focuses on the regeneration of shapes and constructions, combining new
cuts and new volumes with the label’s signature pieces that reveal an urban, contemporary look. The collection offers
a complete silhouette oscillating between sport, street and minimal sophistication.

Thanks to a blend of expert cuts and an elaborate choice of materials, the Y/PROJECT silhouette has a refined fluidity,
punctuated by sharp cuts.
