Trendy and deliciously retro, the highball, or “haibo-ru” in Japanese, is making a comeback.

Brought up to date by Suntory, the now cult tradition of Japanese-style whisky takes over the Parisian summer from June 21 to July 21, 2014 with Yamazaki Distiller’s Reserve and Hakushu Distiller’s Reserve.

The freshest whisky of the moment

The highball is a whisky delicately stretched with sparkling water on a large bed of ice cubes. Particularly appreciated as an aperitif or with meals, it’s unanimously appreciated. An ideal way to enjoy a summer evening.

Suntory makes Parisian summer sparkle

Suntory, a fervent follower of this new trend, sublimates the taste of highball with two whiskies that lend themselves perfectly to the game:
YAMAZAKI Distiller’s Reserve and HAKUSHU Distiller’s Reserve. All-new harmonies between ‘veteran’ and ‘young talent’ whiskies, these elegantly demonstrate Suntory’s ability to innovate while respecting its signature taste.
A promise of freshness and sweetness for a subtly Japanese summer.
