Designer Gemma Serra Vila launches the Ball Pagès sandal for summer. It is in fact the traditional shoe of Eivisssa (Ibiza in Catalan).
Ball Pagès are made in limited series by the last workers able to help bring them back to life. This typical Ibizan sandal was once worn by peasants, and later by folk dancers.
Gemma, with the help of her workers, has preserved the ancestral know-how, while taking up traditional codes and modernizing the spirit and design of the sandal.
Ball Pagès sandals (named after the traditional Ibizan dance of the same name) are hand-woven from 100% natural fiber.
