Gucci watches and jewelry presents its new HORSEBIT watch collection.
Since the early 1970s, the internationally renowned Florentine house has been developing and manufacturing iconic timepieces. Manufactured in Switzerland, Gucci watches are renowned for their design, quality and craftsmanship.
The HORSEBIT takes up one of the Italian brand’s emblematic signatures, the horsebit. This motif, inspired by the equestrian pastimes of Florentine high society, first appeared in the 1950s. Often used on shoes, accessories and jewelry, the equestrian symbol is now reinterpreted on a new collection of women’s watches.
The curves of the 28 mm bit embrace a rigid, rounded bracelet, giving allure and jewel-like refinement to these steel models. Dials are available in dark red or brown, or adorned with black or white mother-of-pearl. A first model in white mother-of-pearl is adorned with precious elements; the case of this jewel is in the shape of a horsebit, set with 12 diamonds. All four models in the collection feature Roman numeral hour markers, or the third hour is replaced by a discreet Gucci logo.
An even more luxurious and exclusive model, elegant, pure and feminine, features a bit set with 92 diamonds and a white mother-of-pearl dial. The watch also features diamonds at three hour markers, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. The logo is discreetly positioned at 12 o’clock.
Larger sizes (34mm) are featured in the collection for a completely different interpretation of the iconic horsebit. Offered on leather bracelets, they bring elegance and causal chic to the wrist.
