Adidas today announced a long-term partnership with superstar Pharrell Williams. The first Adidas Originals x Pharrell Williams products will be released in early summer 2014.
This is also the first time that Adidas has collaborated with a designer who owns his own textile brand. Adidas will be collaborating with Williams’ Bionic Yarn, a member of The Vortex Project, an initiative with Parley for the Oceans, to transform plastic debris lost in the oceans into yarns and fabrics.
Bionic Yarn will be used in some of the future products resulting from the collaboration between Pharrell and Adidas Originals. A collection that promises to be both ethical and trendy!
