Valentin Yudashkin, Russia’s couturier to the stars, distills his glamorous rock aesthetic season after season at Paris Fashion Week.
For this autumn-winter season, the theme is romantic rock n roll. Patterns of pink branches intertwined with flowers in black lacquer that seem to be touched by the first frosts decorate the silhouettes and are repeated in the collection’s prints.
The classic marriage of black and beige is complemented by the colors of autumn. Charcoal, sepia, graphite, quartz gray and shades of ecru add rhythmic musical expression to the collection.
The “rock ‘n’ roll” lightness of the models is reflected in tight-fitting double-stretch fabrics and sporty jerseys combined with leather, jacquard and taffeta. Velvet, chiffon and lace add a touch of romance. Glass-effect fabrics designed using modern technologies give silhouettes femininity and fragility.
The clean silhouette pattern is emphasized by embossed fabrics; geometric ornaments and zippers are used as decorative elements. Additional accents are provided by flat, black, tone-on-tone embroidery with noble colors such as mummy brown and Prussian blue, illuminated by jet.
The collection is distinguished by complex, regular cuts.
The latter is punctuated by this winter’s wardrobe staple: straight-cut or slim-fitting jackets and coats in silver fox fur, pearlescent vision, steel breitschwanz with moiré pattern and black sable.
A strong collection with couture accents and a rock edge.
