Converse shoes, and Chuck Taylor All Star shoes in particular, are part of our fashion heritage. Nothing made us happier, back in middle school or high school, than picking out a new pair: “This time I’m going for lows”. Since then, they’ve stayed with us in most circumstances. Easy to wear and comfortable, these timeless sneakers haven’t aged a day – quite the contrary.
Recently revisited by Maison Martin Margiela, this winter the Chuck Taylor is decked out in neon colors, studded with this season’s famous punk trend. A blend of music, fashion, youth culture and cinema, this ’70s style is currently making a comeback.
