Since its foundation in 1858, the Maison Boucheron has had but one raison d’être: art. The very essence of its creations, which dominates and guides every gesture, every creation of the House.
And to celebrate its 120th anniversary at 26 Place Vendôme in Paris, Boucheron will be presenting several exceptional works by Japanese artist Hiroshi Sugimoto. This initiative is part of the “Boucheron Artiste et Artisan du Rêve” project, which aims to create a dialogue with the contemporary art scene. At 26 place Vendômes, you’ll find works by Hiroshi Sugimoto, from the Révolution series, black and white seascapes in very large formats. This exhibition, open to the public, will be held at the same time as the new Haute Joaillerie collection “Hôtel de la lumière”, a veritable ode to light – the light of stones, the light of the hands that magnify them, and the light of the radiant beauty that shines through them.
The Hiroshi Sugimoto and “Hôtel de la lumière” exhibition at Maison Boucheron, 26 place Vendôme in Paris’s 1st arrondissement, from November 15 to 25.
