Since 2008, the A Shaded View On Fashion Film festival has been held in conjunction with Paris Fashion Week in September/October, a must-attend event for anyone with even the slightest interest in cinema and style.
ASVOFF is the brainchild of Diane Pernet, a talented journalist who passionately conveys her “eye” on fashion through her blog. As cinema and fashion are her favorite fields, the idea of a festival combining the two came to her when she called on a number of artists who make short films. These will be screened at the Centre Pompidou from October 11 to 13, before also being offered for the first time in Antwerp on October 15 and 16. This year’s theme is dreams.
I strongly recommend that you go to the Centre Pompidou to see the short films in the basement cinema, plus admission is free, so there’s no reason not to go.
