On January 21, Tony Ward, lebanese Couturier, revealed his Couture Spring/Summer 2019 collection in Paris at L’École De Médecine during Paris Haute Couture Week.
Inspired by the Anatomy of a Dragonfly and its behavior, the gowns floated in a fast yet graceful movement on the catwalk. Statement wings and voluminous structures were following a certain beat, interrupted by the skeleton of the wings that were translated through sheerness and handmade, holographic embroideries.
After thousands of working hours, the gowns came to life to replicate the stand out behavior of the Dragonfly, in their own creative flow.
Journalists, clients, stylists and friends from all over the world were there to witness it.
Vaimalama Chaves (Miss France), Malika Ménard, Belle Silva, Erika Santos, Alia Chergui, Liliana Nova, Caroline Lestang, Barbara Thomé and many more were among the famous faces that sat front row.
