Isabel Marant, the day after

And now, there’s virtually nothing left of the Isabel Marant collection in store. Yes, it’s sad, but what was even sadder was to see the way some people behaved in front of the clothes, which was chaos. As for me, not having been lucky enough to get to the pre-sale party the day before, and lazy enough to get up at 5am to freeze on the Champs, I went there on the day of the launch, but hopefully at 2pm. Even if this feeling is life-giving, alas, there was nothing left of the coveted pieces, apart from the least beautiful men’s and women’s pants, basic coats and children’s clothes. As I’m a small man, it was in the children’s department (the largest size anyway) that I found what I was looking for, with a long-sleeved red “Sacré-Coeur” t-shirt that fit perfectly. One woman even touched and looked at my garment on a hanger IN MY HANDS as if I were wearing it – fashion makes you crazy, as we all know.

Fashion community site Stylight has put together a rather funny infographic of the various designer collaborations with H&M, I’ll leave you to discover.
