GOD’S LOVE WE DELIVER 15th ANNUAL GOLDEN HEART AWARDS CELEBRATION HONORS BILLY PORTER AND DON LEMON

On Monday, October 18th, God’s Love We Deliver—NYC’s leading provider of medically tailored meals for individuals living with severe illness—hosted their 15th annual Golden Heart Awards. The event took place in a hybrid format, with both an in-person gala at The Glasshouse in Manhattan as well as a virtual program for guests tuning in from home. The night kicked off with a New York City-themed cocktail hour featuring specialty drinks from Bemelmans Bar. In partnership with Vox’s food and dining platform, Eater, guests were also treated to dishes from some of the Big Apple’s most iconic restaurants, including Sardi’s, Russ & Daughters, Dame, Pinch Chinese, Bolivian Llama Party, Frenchette and Saxelby Cheesemongers. They were also given the chance to bid on an original piece of art, made exclusively for this year’s event, by artist, graphic designer and art director Eric Haze. Attendees were then seated for dinner and the annual awards presentation, featuring a welcome from Alan Cumming as well as remarks by Michael Kors, Clive Davis and the evening’s honorees, Billy Porter and Don Lemon. In celebration of Michael Kors’ 40thanniversary in the business, Anna Wintour surprised him with a tribute and special performance by Broadway Inspirational Voices.
