An illustrated tribute to the 140-year history of a great House.

Recently unveiled, the Piaget book pays tribute to the 140-year history of the Piaget watch and jewellery company.
Through illustrations worthy of the greatest fashion magazines, the brand shows off its superb style by inviting readers to immerse themselves in the Piaget archives.
Much more than a simple look back at the important years of the great watch and jewelry House, this modern, glamorous and couture book unveils Piaget’s new image. Imbued with modernity and elegance, the brand is dusted off by the pen of Florence Müller, who offers a historical perspective through her archival work, but also a couture vision of the brand by creating a correlation between haute joaillerie, watchmaking and haute couture.
Piaget’s art of manufacturing is illustrated in images, reflecting the company’s unique and rare know-how.
The result of a joint effort by Florence Müller, Philippe Garcia and Steve Hiett, the reader is introduced to the world of each of them. Piaget brilliantly traces these unique characteristics through the actors in this book. The uniqueness of the brand is revealed by Florence Müller, its modernity and haute couture beauty by Steve Hiett and the couples he portrays. As for Philippe Garcia, a master of still-life photography, his photographs render the brand’s raw beauty; the pieces are simply shown to reveal all their “substance” and perfection.

Every effort has been made to ensure that the reader makes the book his or her own, whether looking at the photographs or reading the chapters created independently of each other. He remains in control of his reading and can savor every part.
Dressed in blue and gold haute couture, Piaget Horlogers et Joailliers depuis 1874 is available from Editions de La Martinière for €65.
