While strolling at Sephora I discovered a strange product and more precisely a gloss with a « collagen injection » effect: the Lips Injection by Too Faced.
It was the product’s packaging that drew my attention to it. I was indeed surprised to see a lip gloss that looked like a syringe (you don’t see that every day, though). I didn’t go to Sephora in order to find a « mouth puffing » cosmetic product, but my curiosity won out and I proudly left with this new purchase.
Lips Injection Extreme gloss is supposed to give volume to our lips thanks to its patented formula, rich in collagen microspheres and blood stimulants. The American brand Too Faced promises us lips worthy of a cosmetic surgery (without the collagen injection). In short, this gloss is for all those who want full and glamorous lips.
Without further ado, once I arrived home I tested this new product. A few seconds after putting the gloss on my lips I feel a tingling sensation (not to say a slight burn) it’s unpleasant but after all you have to suffer to be beautiful so I hold on! 5 minutes later I notice that my lips do indeed look thicker! They are more red which is due to the tingling I felt, I am very satisfied with the result.
About an hour and a half later, the effect has completely disappeared (my lips are no longer plump). I feel a bit like Cinderella when her carriage and all the fairy magic disappears. In the end, I’m still convinced by this gloss, because although it has a very average hold (but not so bad compared to other glosses), the volume effect was really there.
The little trick: this gloss has a fruity smell, a mixture of raspberry and strawberry yum!
