تقدّم دار Pierre Cardin تسعة وخمسين تصميمًا لربيع وصيف 2027، تحت الإدارة الفنية لـRodrigo Basilicati-Cardin. وتجمع فيها بين أقمشة معاد تدويرها ومخزونات راكدة يعود تاريخها إلى الفترة بين 1970 و2010.
تضم المجموعة، التي تسميها الدار «prêt-à-vivre»، 59 تصميمًا. تنطلق من عالم الرياضة، وتعبر خزانة الملابس اليومية، وتصل إلى فستان السهرة. ويحدد Rodrigo Basilicati-Cardin القصد منها: أزياء حرة وعملية ومسؤولة، تقوم على الحركة والراحة والاستدامة.
وأدقّ ما في الأمر يتعلق بالمادة. فالأقمشة المعاد تدويرها والمخزونات الراكدة المستخدمة تغطي أربعين عامًا، من سبعينيات القرن العشرين إلى العقد الثاني من الألفية. وتقدّم الدار هذا الاختيار بوصفه نهجًا يربط بين الماضي والتجريب والعلاقة بالجسد.
ويوصف القَوام بأنه عمارة مرنة في حركة: أحجام واسعة ومحيطة، ودوائر ومنحنيات وتباينات، تشكّل بحسب الدار لغة غرافيكية جديدة. والدار، التي تأسست عام 1950، يقع مقرها في 59 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré في باريس.
وتكمن أهمية الموضوع في هذا اللجوء إلى مخزونات قديمة. أمّا جودة القطع فسيُحكم عليها من الملابس نفسها، ولا يمكن لأي توصية أن تسبق هذا الحكم.
