Les Soirées Royales by Louise Bourrat: when gastronomy meets audacity at Ladurée

The famous Maison Ladurée, celebrating its 160th anniversary, is showing its audacity and impertinence by inviting the talented chef Louise Bourrat, winner of Top Chef 2022, for a series of original and royally audacious gastronomic evenings. A perfect marriage of Ladurée’s Parisian chic and Louise Bourrat’s rock spirit, this series promises to shake up the codes of gastronomy and get Parisian soirées on the Rue Royale into a frenzy.

In this ephemeral restaurant, the young chef, inspired by the Marie-Antoinette style and Ladurée’s hushed atmosphere, is tasked with revisiting the evening menu with imagination and boldness. Two menus will be offered: a springtime menu inspired by flowers from April to September, and an autumnal menu from September to the end of October. Guests will enjoy a reinvented tearoom and an unforgettable gourmet dinner.

Louise Bourrat invites us on a culinary voyage in five stages and twelve new creations, which will be renewed in the autumn. The tea room transforms into a bar, where teapots with floral and spicy notes deliver a certain intoxication. Ladurée’s signature powdered cakes and religieuses contain surprising flavors and ingredients that awaken the taste buds.

This daring collaboration is in line with Ladurée’s history, which has always sought to offer original taste experiences and create links between gastronomy, fashion and the arts of the table. The Franco-Portuguese chef, who travels between Lisbon, Paris and Santiago de Chile, offers an authentic cuisine that highlights forgotten products and unusual combinations. Louise embodies this new generation of chefs: modern, committed, responsible, in tune with the times, full of energy and, above all, full of talent.

Louise Bourrat’s Soirées Royales will take place from April 20 to October 27, 2023, Tuesday to Saturday, 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm, at Ladurée Paris Royale, 16 rue Royale 75008 Paris. Prices are €18 for the Bouchées Royales, €16 for the Cocktails and €85 for the 5-course Tasting Menu, with a wine pairing at €38.

Don’t miss this unique gastronomic experience, which perfectly combines the elegance of the Maison Ladurée and the audacity of chef Louise Bourrat, for unforgettable Parisian evenings on Rue Royale.
